In the second episode of Ulysses, Nestor, whose theme is history, the head-master Mr Deasy hands the young teacher, Stephen Dedalus, a letter and asks him to use his contacts to get it published in the newspaper. Echoing this moment, Comune di Trieste wrote a letter to their local newspaper, Piccolo, on 3rd October, 2022 outlining the nature of their symposium with the theme of Weight of History, and extending an invitation to cross-sectoral organisations within the city to participate.
