On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the unification of the capital, the Grand Novel Budapest will be published as a highlight of the Budapest Book Capital program series. 23 popular contemporary writers wrote the chapters of each district based on local history and civil legend collection, evoking the unique figures, locations and stories of this ever-changing metropolis even in their everyday life.

Gergely Karacsony, the mayor of Budapest will give a welcome address followed by a series of talks with the actors of the creative process.
