Artists’ Statement

My work is centered around the fields of architecture and theater. I work as an actor, dramaturg, director, and architect. In the field of theater, my work is based on the research of reality through interviews, archives, personal narratives, literature, diaries and oral traditions. The themes have to do with public space and discourse. I’m interested in mixing the elements of research with fictional elements as well as personal narratives. Using space composition tools borrowed from architecture, my work is based on mixing reality, fiction and personal narratives in ways that aim for a new dramaturgy that can be staged.
